Welcome to the Inaugural Westerleigh Judokwai MSM & SN Weekend Competition! A judo competition spread over two days aimed at newcomers, beginners and individuals that want to get a gentle first taste of the competitive environment.

This competition is for both Mainstream and Special Needs players with MSM fighting on Saturday 21st April & SN fighting on Sunday 22nd April

This a Sussex only competition and we will not be accepting and Squad level entrants for MSM (within the last 5 years), simply due to the nature of this competition

Participants will be arranged into pools of 3 – 6 players.
Gold, Silver & Bronze awards in each group with Spirit of Judo for each group and overall ‘Best Performance’ trophy for each day.
Participants will be grouped according to age, weight, and ability wherever possible!
Four groups every 40 minutes from start; times may vary – time spent at this competition will be kept to a minimum. Special Needs players will be sorted in groups appropriate to their ability.

We've had a number of competitors taking part in competitions up in Sheffield and over in Holland.

For the Holland Trip we had a number of companies sponsored various areas of the trip of which we would like give a HUGE Thank You to:

247 Transport Solutions; The Hastings Youth Trust; Battle Muffin Club; Hastings Lion Club and The Mrs A Lacy Tate Trust.

These fantastic local charities helped get the players out there and without them, it would of not of happened at the scale it did!
