It is with the deepest of regret we write to inform you that our Warrior, Dave Gould passed away yesterday afternoon.
Dave was involved in a horrendous car incident 6 months ago where he was traveling to a competition.
Dave was one of our fondest players and was loved by all - child and adult alike! He was a fighter and liked to be pushed, but equally would take time out to help teach newcomers and the children - little did we know how much of a fighter this man was!
Dave became a massive part of the Westerleigh Family, funding the initial relaunch of the Club's new range of Hoodies, as well as chipping in funding-wise for other items for the club.
Dave told Paul on a number of occasions how special this club is and how everyone looks out for each other. Dave was a guy that was known through the local Judo scene. He was a gentleman, fun, caring individual that always had time for anyone.
At this time we offer our thoughts Carolyn, Charlie and Mick, along with the rest of the Family.
Dave loved his sport and love this club, he will not be forgotten and will remain a proud member of Westerleigh Judokwai
Rest in Peace Dave, we love you and will miss you
