I have been involved in judo for over 15 years and have been a qualified coach for the past 3 years. As a full-time wheelchair user, I understand first-hand the importance of making sport accessible and inclusive for everyone.

Alongside coaching, I hold a Level 2 qualification in Nage no Kata and have achieved numerous National and European medals in this discipline. My competitive experience allows me to support judoka of all abilities in developing their technical skills and confidence.

Having learnt British Sign Language (BSL) from a young age, I am also able to communicate with our Deaf and adaptive athletes, helping to ensure everyone feels welcome and supported within the club.

I am passionate about creating an inclusive environment where every person has the opportunity to enjoy judo, reach their potential, and be part of a positive and encouraging community.

 

My current grade in Judo is 1st Dan
